ISIMIIRIAN TIMELINE:

MYTHIC AGE (MA 0000):
Nothing from this time is written down, it is all oral history. Historians can make guesses as to when the events may have occurred but no proof has been found to corroborate most stories and no written accounts remain. Tantalizing clues like old ruins, cave paintings, and Ancient technology and magic are sometimes found by explorers. At this time the Elder Gods rule and Death, UnDeath, and Life herself find themselves in a predicament that goes on til this very day.


THE ELVEN AGE (EA 0001-3569):
This spans the time from the Elven arrival to the rise and fall of their Empire in Isimiir. During this age, the elves arrived from another plane (EA 0001), conquered Isimiir (by FA 0250), wiping out several races and enslaving many others. They took the neolithic cave-dwelling humans under their wings and taught them society, values, and culture. They ruled the humans and spread from the Oceans in the West to the Spine of Durkault Mountains to the East, from Trakaldar's forests to the north to Skraelund's jungles to the south (Completed by EA 0890). During this Age, all of the Dwarven Gods were killed by monstrous deities in the even known as the Celestial Betrayal (EA 3012). This caused the banishment of several Pantheons and their followers, a banishment still practiced to this very day.They ruled for over 3000 years before being overthrown by their subjects and fleeing to the plane of Eiliopia (EA 3569). It is notable that the pantheon now called the Isimiirian Pantheon made contact with their first Great Prophet Ionas in Lazarius and he led the revolution (from EA 3509) until his matrydom (in EA 3565).


THE FRACTURED AGE (FA 0001- 0436):
During this time period, the half-elves who led the revolution assumed rule over the lands. Infighting became bitter and in frustration, the Empire split into seven kingdoms (Between FA 0121-0307). The dwarves of Durkault and elves in Eiliopia stayed aloof from the conflict though occasionally, the elves raided the lands of Isimiir. During this time, the Kai Lin and the True Kajimarans arrived by planar travel from the Ancient World (circa FA 0370). This era ends with the people uprising against half-elven rule and casting them aside after a bitter and bloody revolution (FA 0413-436). Several nations bereft of half-elven leadership fell. These nations included Toorimor (FA 0336), Skraelund (FA 0389), Guavhardiim (FA 0412) and Rhamier (0436) which most scholars agree ended the Fractured Age.


PRE-CATACLYSM (PC 0001-0231):
This time was one of peace punctuated by short bursts of infighting between kingdoms. The first incursion of the Q'aan is noted (PC 0089-0096) at this time and the nations rally to drive them off (PC 0096). During this time Trakaldar's forest began to get a reputation for being cursed (0047) and the Trakaldan Royal family apparently abdicated en masse (PC 0162). The Trakaldan Deity Wasagnaar plummets from the sky and begins to accrue worshipers (PC 0212) as the country's population plummets. Numerous other incursions appeared but were also fended off by united nations often led by Lazarius. Lazarius often trades blows with Skraelund, Guavhardiim, Rhamier, and Zanitar during this time period. 

THE GREAT CATACLYSM (GC 0001-0036):
This denotes the time period where the KharQ'aan Goya and over a million Q'aanites streamed through and around the Spine of Durkault and crushed the people of Guavhardiim, Rhamier, and most of Kajimara and half of Lazarius before the intervention of the entire Isimiirian pantheon and the Resurrection of Durkault the Fallen Dwarven God occurred.


Two of the Great Dragons: Xhiang Xhuong the Celestial Dragon of Isimiir and Ikal'thi'Trix the Shadow Dragon of the Monsterlands clashed in battle with the Shadow Dragon retreating with seemingly mortal wounds. As Durkault and the Isimiirian Gods sided with the Civilized land the Forbidden Gods and UnDeath himself bolstered the enemies.


This marks the first time since the Elven Empire that e;ves have directly intervened with their armies in Isimiir and they sided with the Dwarves, Kai Lin, and Humans for the final battle. During this time the creation of the Warforged occurs along with the inherent malfunctions and instabilities that went along with the process. Runes are rediscovered and used to great effect and the dwarves also reclaim knowledge of golemcraft, lost to them since the death of the Gods. Durkault becomes the Dwarves one true god and all turn their worship from the other dead gods to Durkault.


The Isimiirian God Valece is killed reducing the pantheon from 7 to 6 gods. Most of the Forbidden Gods are routed or slain, UnDeath infects Encauste with vampirism changing his cult forever. Millions die on all sides and the KharQ'aan flees the field with his tattered forces in ruin back to his land beyond the mountains of the spine.


The aftermath of the Godswar and the Great Cataclysm is devastating with the deaths of millions of people across Isimiir. The pieces and blood of dying and dead gods altering the landscape with their raw magic, and the great destruction only the gods can wreak completely rearranging the nature of all things. Plane are ripped open and the world's magic supply has dwindled as the gods rest to resummon their divine energies.


AFTER CATACLYSM (AC 0001-0082):
After the Cataclysm the nations are trying to get back to normal, trade is being reestablished and nations, realizing that their lives are at stake, begin to build alliances. The Isimiirian Conclave is held and all side agree to a truce between nations, to normalize trade, and to ally with each other in future incursions. Dwarves are now seen trading and Elves have begun to step out of their seclusion, though very, very slowly. Guavhardiim becames a nation with a ruler for the first time since (FA 0412) under a Ogre Magi Warking.


The aftermath of the battles spawned creatures, magic zones, and endless graveyards. The populace still has to deal with large war bands of left over Q'aan, rogue Warforged, Godbleeders (insane scavengers who find, use, and sell vials of potent God's Blood), and many other dangers caused by the raw magic left behind. Creation of Warforged is banned until it can be refined and many warforged, having no wars to fight go insane.


The Isimiirian Business council organizes two cities, one in Skraelund and one in Rhamier to start trade, conquer the countries, and instill lawful rule. Mercenaries flock to these lands to try their luck and gain good fortunes. Zanitar has a revolution led by the Anipater with the goal of destroying all of it's mages and driving out all recognized churches. They are targeting mages from all strata and have crushed the last vestiges of the Church of Isimiir. In Lazarius, the Grand Vizier Elhuid disappears and in the power vacuum, the Mages rise up and try to take over the country. Their plot is to kill the Queen Aeiceia I on her throne and in conjunction with the UnDeath cult based in Zanitar to raise and army to sack the City of Lazarius as well. They are opposed by the Churches of Isimiir and the queen herself.


This is the current day.
