DURKAULT:
Dwarves dislike Magic and all Magic Based Crimes and Penalties are doubled. Weregilds are expected. Nobles duel over petty matters of honor. Branding of Criminals is common and is done on the left arm. Banishment is a common occurrence.

Criminals are treated as one rank worse for punishments. Great Warriors (10th or higher levels) and Priests can get passes for Least offenses, Nobles for Lesser, and Royalty for Moderate and below offenses. Great Merchant Houses often sponsor dwarves both as workers and as soldiers and often pay Weregilds out of pocket to keep their reputation strong. Debtors in Dwarven Society are treated one rank lower in their caste system by all dwarves.

Dwarven Society is Layered like this: Royal, Noble, Clergy, Merchant, Commoner, Mages, Criminal, Outcast and Traitor. Due to Dwarven sensibilities no class outright abuses other classes and Dwarven Justic is considered pretty even handed with solid and fair judgments no matter wealth or social level.

ELIOPIA:
Magic has no crimes attached to it, there is no penalty for Divinations, Necromancy, or any other magical solution. Duels often incorporate magic. Elves treat duels like elaborate parties and invite friends and relatives. Elves cannot kill other elves by law so their duels are usually shows of skill and panache like cutting off buttons, slashing a cheek, or embarrassing a foe. Losing one's temper during a duel will cost the elf Prestige and Elves have LONG memories.

Elves are commonly treated by their closeness and purity of blood to their ruling Tuath so a Sidhith is treated better than an Elf and much better than a Prime. Noble Fae like unicorns are treated better than lesser Fae like Brownies. Humans and other non-faerie creatures are treated like children and often punishments are expulsion from Eiliopia also usually with a few magical curses added in. Usually the Faerie humor of curses is such that these punishments are like death sentences of humorous proportions.

Recorded curses range from feet that grow and inch every night for seven years, adding a hundred years to a human's life but making him brittle and unkillable for that time so that no wound heals and the pain never leaves, or having everything he touches turn to dust.

GUAVHARDIIM:
Weregilds are common, the only punishments outside of Weregilds are the Traditional and Civil Methods. Rape is not a crime. Nobles are not treated any better. All matters of honor can be resolved with impromptu duels in the street. There is no law against robbery, if you aren't strong enough to protect what's yours you don't deserve it. Might makes Right. Women are expected to fight and if they are raped there rarely is a punishment.

Outside of the Kamakai's city there is no law and the wilds are much like any Mad Max Movie with every tribe doing it's own chaotic and usually evil thing.

KAJIMARA:
Nobles can abuse anyone. Samurai can abuse any commoner. There is no voice for the common people. Eta classes are subhuman and can be abused by anyone and anything. Ninja are popular for revenge against the untouchable classes, thus a Samurai who is insulted by a Lord might hire a Ninja to 'Redeem' his honor. The Kajimara have a complex Honor System called Bushido that runs their every movement.

LAZARIUS:
Any offense by or against the Church are upgraded one level. Blasphemy is a thing. The Church Rivals and intertwines with the state and is very powerful. Chivalry is the Law of the Land and Women are both protected and fought over. Though there are now 'Dames', traditionally Lazarians are very Male-Oriented and treat women as a weaker sex. Jousts, Duels, and Trials-By-Combat are extremely popular and news of great duelists are passed around nationwide.

Many Warriors sell their skills as champions. Magic is Frowned upon but allowed as a defense by Tower Mages. Illegal use of Magic is a severely punishable crime. Whelm Knights are treated as Judge, Jury, and occasionally Executioners and overrule even other members of Non-Whelmite Churches. Devil, Demon, and UnDead Worship are Criminal. Necromancy is a high sin.

A common Punishment is Quelling for Mages for a period equaling the Penance time of the Clergy. The Inquisition and Tower both handle the punishments of Rogue Mages.

RHAMIER:
The Rham have no laws that recognize any of the Isimiirian's laws or customs and they operate on a Tribal Level. Thy use tribal justice instead of Isimiir's Coded Laws. The only men using Isimiirian Laws are the Frontiersmen who Live in Trading Camps or Forts. All men, Native or Isimiirian are subject to Isimiirian Law within one mile of a Fort thus the Rham tiptoe around traders.

The Rham are treated one step worse than an Isimiirian in a Fort and are often punished more harshly than a 'Civilized Isimiirian'.

SKRAELUND:
The Skrae have no laws that recognize any of the Isimiirian's laws or customs and they operate on a Tribal Level. Thy use tribal justice instead of Isimiir's Coded Laws. The only men using Isimiirian Laws are the Frontiersmen who Live in Trading Camps or Forts. All men, Native or Isimiirian are subject to Isimiirian Law within one mile of a Fort thus the Skrae tiptoe around traders.

Corruption is rampant in The Trading Centers of Skraelund and Bribes are required for anything, and all crimes are treated as one level less. All Crimes are also payable to any authority without needing the hassle of a trial so paying off the arresting officer is better than awaiting a trial from their corrupt and lethargic law system. Prostitution is legal and it is highly rumored that the Thieve's Guild has infiltrated about 95% of Government officials.

TRAKALDAR:
Trakaldans love trial by combat and they often see it as horseplay. They fight over anything and everything often spontaneously and to a chorus of laughter. Though a Trakaldan duel is rarely fatal, they are usually bloody affairs of biting, wrestling, and gouging without weapons. Trakaldans gain fame for good fighting skills but never lose fame for quitting a match if they are over powered (Think UFC without rules).

Strangely, a loser must laugh off the loss, buy the winner a round, and admit his wrongs, even if he is secretly angry. A sore loser loses respect from the group. Often, a man viciously bitten, gouged, and gored will spit out teeth and then hug his rival. Holding Grudges is not allowed in Trakaldan Society. Using weapons is also not allowed.

Weregilds for deaths is double the cost, almost any serious or lower crime can be resolved by fighting the offended parties one at a time. Thus a man who has insulted 10 men will have to fight them one a day for 10 days without magical healing. Even if he is knocked out on the first punch he keeps his honor. Trakaldans must duel regardles of size or physical disadvantage unless they are elders, children, or infirm.

Though Women are not required to fight, they gain honor by doing so. A Trakaldan thinks a scarred, tattooed, muscular woman is very attractive.

Date rape is a thing in Trakaldar. Elves are hated an are treated two ranks worse in all crimes. Wizardry is feared and is treated one rank worse. Isimiirian Priests who respect Wasagnaar are treated one rank better as are Dwarves and Mamluk.

ZANITAR:
Prime Royalty can abuse anyone. Prime Nobles can abuse any non-Prime Noble or lower. Non-Prime Zanitarian Nobles are able to abuse any commoner. There is no voice for the common Zanotarian people unless dealing with Foreign Commoners. Foreign commoners are subhuman and can be abused by anyone and anything. Foreign nobles are treated one rank less noble in Zanitar.

The Mamluk Servants of a Noble of any Race are treated one rank lower than the noble that owns them. Thus the Mamluk of a Royal Prime are treated like Prime Nobles with one exception: they cannot insult or duel any actual noble of their station or lower. However, they must be treated with the respect of their station. Most Mamluk simply remain quiet or reserved when their Sponsoring Lord is not around to protect them.

Now that the Kingdom is in Turmoil and the Church and Wizards are being hunted, all magic, divine or Arcane is banned and punished harshly (two ranks worse). Since the Prime are Magical, they are also targets of the revolution and seek to destroy all rebels who target mages though they secretly also despise the Isimiirian Church. All Rebels are treated 2 ranks more criminal than their peers.
