THE BAYING YETH HOUND: +1 Intimidate. The yeth hounds are horrifying animals of mystical origin well known for their frightful baying, a sound said to cause fear or even death to those unlucky to cross their paths, their relentless pursuit of prey during the night are the cause of much fear to travelers in Trakaldar in particular. THE FURIOUS DRAGON: +1 Sense Motive. Those born under this sign are known to get easily offended and always seem to know when they are being wronged, some might call them paranoid, but more often than not, they are dead on the money with their suspicions. The dragons of Gaela'dra, especially Xeng XuongAutarkisBelargo and the Shadow Dragon of the East find favor with those born under this sign. THE COURTLY MAIDEN: +1 Diplomacy. The courtly maiden is possessed of subtlety, style, graceful manners, and gentle breeding. She always seems to know what to say and when to say it. She is patronized by the Goddesses Erelaine and A'licynia of the Elven pantheon. Boys born under this sign are often teased at a young age but often get the last laugh because girls seem to appreciate their pretty boy style later in life. Season: Reaping Month: Harvest Days: 1-20


THE SEEKING FOOL: +1 Search. This tragic story is of a half-wit court jester told by his queen that if he found the fabled flower Amaniesys, he would gain her hand in marriage. Most stories have the poor fool dying a tragic and lonely death at the end of his life, however, some revisionist stories have him find the flower and marry the queen who learns the errors of her ways. Though no deity directly claims this sign, those born under it are said to be careful and meticulous, letting not even the smallest detail slip from their grasp. Season: Reaping Month: Harvest Days: 21-40

THE STARLIT CARRIAGE: +1 Concentration. The starlit carriage is the magical carriage that Al'icynia 'Eros' Esitlistande is supposed to ride in. It is reputed to be the most peaceful, beautiful place in all of the universe and a ride in it produces total tranquility. Having this level of calm allows people to perform well under the worst chances. Both Al'icynia and Eventhias Terromacin, the Elven God of Magic patronize the carriage.Season: Reaping Month: Dayloss Days: 1-20


NOTE: Those are said to that 'Ride the Starlit Carriage' are always calm even during the most dire of circumstances.


THE SINISTER ARCHFIEND: +1 to Spellcraft. This is not considered a happy sign, it is the depiction of an arch-devil holding a treasure box, a representative of all of the forbidden knowledge of the world. Those that seek it are doomed to tragedy and suffering, at least as the story goes. This legend is probably influenced by the Isimiirian fear of Magic, probably spawned by their Elven masters who wanted humans and other 'lesser' races to fear magic so they could horde it all to themselves. Most Mages, Sorcerers, and other casters of magic seem to be born under this sign, though notable exceptions do exist. This sign is patronised by Eventhias Terromacin, the Elven God of Magic and a host of other, banned and infernal deities. Season: Reaping Month: Dayloss Days: 21-40


THE SNEAKING DOORMOUSE: +1 Hide. The Sneaking Door Mouse is that unwanted guest in many Isimiirian residences, when the weather gets cold, known to sneak under the floorboards of houses, chittering, and absconding with late night snacks while the family is asleep. To be called a 'Door Mouse' in Isimiir means to be a sneaky and furtive individual, not worthy of trust. Cyncess, the goddess of Crime is the patroness of this month, though Valece often has worshipers born in this month also. Season: WhitedeathMonth: Frostfall Days: 1-20


THE EXALTED VIRGIN: +1 to Heal. This is the month when Terelim is supposed to have been placed in her nunnery high in the Durkault Mountains. Every year at this time, those unmarried virgins are included in a sacred parade that winds through most streets and include lit candles, wild dancing, and games. Those with the touch of Terelim often become doctors, healers, clerics, and paladins. Season: Whitedeath Month:Frostfall Days: 21-40


THE SLEEPING FARMHAND: +1 to Handle Animal. This is a time of year when farmers sell their crops, and have put down their plows and can relax if their crops have done well during the year, Thymos is the patron of this month and sends his people pleasant dreams. It is now that animals and livestock take precedence over the fields which lie fallow. Those born in this month are reputed to have an affinity with animals that goes beyond the normal ken. Season: Whitedeath Month: Iceshine Days: 1-20


THE DUELING GALLANT: +1 Knowledge (History). The Dueling Gallant is the picture of Chivalry, the knight in shining armor riding without care towards some unknown fate. Encauste is the patron deity of this month, but this sign is also favored by DurkaultWhelmObroth, and Khionos Aelon, all gods of combat in their own right. Those born in this month have an innate grasp of war, and seem to gravitate towards the history of his people, the events surrounding them, and the heroes involved. Season: Whitedeath Month: IceshineDays: 21-40


THE LITTLE LORDLING: +1 Knowledge (Nobility and Royalty): Those that are born in the 10 day festival known as Whelmtidings are truly blessed indeed as the patron Deity of the Isimiirian Religion favors this time above all others, it is common for children born in this day to be made squires if of common birth, and to be allowed to act as Lords and Ladies, even above their houses for the Tenday of the Festival (Leading the Parades, Giving Announcements, and acting as the nobility while the true nobles act as servants). It is said that a town can measure it's prosperity in Whelm's eyes by the amount of Whelmtidings children it possesses. Due perhaps to all this responsibility, or just by the God's favor, these children seem to possess a firm grasp of Nobility and it's customs. Season: Whelmtidings Month: Whelmtidings Days: 1-10
