THE SUBPLANES OF ISIMIIR:

Though most of the action deals with Isimiir, it's politics, and it's people. It is important to note that the fractured nature of the World has caused shards to break away from reality. Elhuid, when teaching his students of the planes takes a ceramic plate and drops it, watching it break into pieces and then begins to reassemble it naming the planes and subplanes.

The major subplanes are cuts, breaks, ripples, pockmarks, tears, stretches, and holes in the planar fabric caused by deific magic on the largest scale. Godly warfare, Time Travel, Planar magicks, and teleportation all leave warps on the stitching of reality and, in some places have cause the skeins of fate to unravel altogether. Here are some of the major planes that impact Isimiir.

Though Eiliopia is very nearly separate, it still has hooks in the Isimiirian Lands and is thus, technically, not extraplanar.

THE EMBER: "Only the strongest live, only the smartest thrive."
REALM ALIGNMENT: Neutral Evil
RULING ALIGNMENT: Lawful Evil
PREDOMINANT RACES: Demons, Devils, Genies, Azer, fire-based races.
TECHNOLOGY LEVEL: Low Middle Age
MAGIC LEVEL: High
The Ember is a massive plane of creatures that would now be called demons, devils, genies, and fire creatures. The world is volcanic and tremendously hot with absolutely frigid nights. Any race not used to the heat of the Ember (DR/5: Fire and Cold) Will suffer 5 HP of Damage every hour.

Legends say that when the Godking was toppled, the Emberites took the Godking and his family hostage and kept them in captivity. Worse, they began to feed on the god himself and feeding on his blood became an addiction. They then began to feed on his family and continued their vampiric devotion to drinking the Godsblood until the gods went mad.

In their madness, the gods began to change, become more angry, unstable, and more and more hateful. This altered the attributes of the drinkers as well over the centuries. They became more inflamed, hateful, and evil as a society and gained powers that altered them and their very plane from earth-like to a hell on earth.

After untold eons, the plane itself ripped from the prime material and became only accessible by portal. It remains there today but seems to be spinning farther and farther away from the reality of everyday Isimiir and the world of Gaela'dra.

Though there are many legends of what happened to the Godking and his family, no one knows or admits what actually occurred, all that the nobility will admit is that the gods are gone, either escaped or, as some legends suggest, they took over as the leading infernal family. Some say that the Godking no longer exists as a god at all, all his divine powers having been drained, others say his insanity and hellishly hot anger twisted them into other godly forms altogether.

* Realm of The Ember is not a physical part of the world of Man
* Devils normally rule the cities, Demons roam the wastes
* The Ember was once ruled by the Ifriit, Genies who are corrupted by Godsblood
* Creature from the ember find Isimiir uncomfortable to live in and have desire to travel there.
* Civil War rages constantly between all races, alliances shift, betrayal is a way of life, and even the races are disloyal to each other. It is a large game of everyone for themselves.

THE GREY:

THE HUSH: "All sins, all wars, all evils lie within the Hush."
REALM ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Neutral
RULING ALIGNMENT: None
PREDOMINANT RACES: All warrior races past and present, warforged, golems
TECHNOLOGY LEVEL: All
MAGIC LEVEL: High
The Hush is a strange demiplane created by the magicks of the Godswar. It is a direct result of the massive power of the divine magicks that were used on the mortal plane. In many ways it is directly touching the plane of Lazarius but also it is filling the raw holes.

In this realm time is torn and armies, old, new, and present in Isimiir today are endlessly warring. The mixture of fights, results of those fights, and the preparation of fights can make moving from mile to mile a dangerous task as no one can predict the army, the battle, or the side of those participating from trench to trench. In many ways the Hush is filled with spirits and ghosts but they are physical and quite capable of causing harm.

Scarier still, the Hush can be entered accidentally but can be difficult to escape. Still, some folks enter it willingly for the most valued liquid in the known realms, Godsblood. A Vial of Godsblood is both expensive and powerful as a drug that boosts one's abilities unlike anything else in the realms.

* Realm of The Hush fills the tears in reality caused by the Godswar
* Armies roam endlessly from all time periods past, present, and future
* The Hush is found in all lands, anywhere gods battled and ripped the planes
* Godsblood is found in raw form here
* All Tech levels found here

THE SHADOW:

THE WEEPING WASTES: "We are the circle of sorrows, the keys to the after realms, the war unceasing, and the hatred unending."
REALM ALIGNMENT: Lawful Evil
RULING ALIGNMENT: Lawful Evil
PREDOMINANT RACES: The Dead, the UnDead, and those in between those states.
TECHNOLOGY LEVEL: Ancient Steampunk
MAGIC LEVEL: High
Bak'Tash was once a beautiful land of exotic riches but in the Ancient days, long before Isimiir was settled by elves, Whelm appeared, and the Q'aan became a force, there was the Iron General who was to later become the World King. He conquered all of the known world and assembled his armies at the Mountain called Urumol, the Mountain of the Gods.

Here, legends told, those who deserved godhood would defeat the Mountain's Guardian Maeorodominus, find a Crown of priceless beauty, and then ascend to Godhood.

The World King did just that but found that the Gods did not live up to their promises and sent Death himself to kill the World King. The World King instead slew Death and the gods trembled, this was the first crack in their diminishment and eventually toppling. But, denied his rightful place, he took the Mantle of UnDeath and captured Death's widow Isiasia, the Goddess of Life. She cursed him, his lands, and all that trod with him to neither live or die.

The verdant lands became grey sandy wastes and to this day they remain unable to sustain life. Death's Keep in the City of Tyrus, the Mountain and it's guardian, and Tryoda, the City UnDeath built to beseige the Afterlife all still exist in another universe, shattered by the massive Godswars to come reachable by portal, shadow travel, and through thin barriers like the Hush or the Grey.

* Eternal forces between Death and UnDeath, with Isiasia held hostage
* Tyrus is the gate to the Afterworlds of the Gods, all souls enter through here
* Troyda is the city created by the Worldking in his quest to storm the heavens
* The Grey wastes of Khar'No-Hathi is incapable of supporting life and is filled with roaming spirits, ghosts, and other horrible indead
* Tyrus, and it's capitol Tier Rose, and Tyrus are living cities that shift, move, and even defend themselves. Angering Tyrus is a death sentence. Inhuman races abound.
