DIVANI (Favored of ENCAUSTE): Encauste is the god of blood, love, and death, a vampire who leeches the blood from the chivalrous in battle, and the virginity of the young female. In this way he is not only a god of Death but also Fertility. Those chosen by him at birth are almost fragile and often are born in the world dead and have to be resuscitated to life. They are often pale, with eyes that turn red when they are angry, and pronounced incisors and strong fingernails.
+2 STR, +2 CHA, -2 WIS, -2 CON: You are immensely strong but you constantly have to hold yourself back from killing others, you are more fragile than normal humans and need blood to feel good, the power and allure of your sensual nature makes men and women swoon under your lustful gaze.
Darkvision (Ex): A Divani can see 60 feet in total darkness.
Blood Drain (Ex): A Divani of Encauste can suck blood from a living victim with its fangs by making a successful grapple check. If it pins the foe, it drains blood, dealing 1 point of Constitution drain each round the pin is maintained. On each such successful attack round, the Divani gains 1 temporary hit point. Maximum Constitution Drain and HP gain is LEVEL + CON Mod (minimum +0). If a Divani ever fully drains a victim of all it's blood or CON, he will make a WILL save (DC: 20) or become a Full Vampire and turn Chaotic Evil until the next sunrise. When he again wakes the next night he will be his normal self again (though tales of what he did the previous night will surely haunt him forever).
Resistances (Ex): A Divani of Encauste has resistance to cold 5 and electricity 5.
Spider Climb (Ex): A Divani of Encauste can climb sheer surfaces as though with a spider climb spell x3 Daily.
Suggestion (Su): A Divani can crush an opponent’s will just by looking onto his or her eyes. This is similar to a gaze attack, except that the Divani must use a standard action, and those merely looking at it are not affected. Anyone the vampire targets must succeed on a Will save or fall instantly under the Divani’s influence as though by a Suggestion spell. The ability has a range of 30 feet. x1 Daily. Saves is DC of 10 + ½ Divani’s Level + Divani’s Cha modifier.
