HUMAN, BAK'TAASHI (Geydhe-Favored):
Tyrus was made the Capital City of Bak'Tash when the Kingdom fell a century ago thanks to the Iron General and the many battles that decimated the once proud Elder Land. Now a century later, the land is healing and the scars are no longer visible to the careless viewer. However, one major change has occurred. The port city of Tyrus has now expanded past it's middle city roots into the single greatest city in all of Bak'Tash. Even more frightening, a Deity of Death called Geydhe has taken full control of the city and his minions spread his religion far past Tyrus' corrupted roots. Occasionally, there are children born said to be favored by the dark god. Children born with skulls in their eyes.
The Favored of Geydhe are born with black eyes with white skulls in them. Other than this obvious mark, they look little different than normal humans. One sure way to identify the Geydhe-Favored is to watch them bleed as their blood is black. Their skin is cool to the touch and always clammy. The Favored of Geydhe are often prone to fits of melancholy, depression, and despondency. They have a preference for black and grey, and often wander graveyards late at night often being nocturnal by nature. One thing that binds most of the death touched is a hatred for the undead. This is due to the hatred Der'Geydhe feels for the usurper god. Many feel a calling to put the dead to rest and become hunters of hidden crypts and graveyards, prowling where others wouldn't dare. Strangely, many of the Favored are drawn to paladinhood although many more join the priesthood or become assassins of Der'Geydhe serving their spiritual father by putting infidels and abominations to rest. A slang term used by the commoners of Tyrus for the Favored of Geydhe is 'Death Touched'
Despite their heritage and ancestry many Geydhe-Favored humans are not evil.

DEATH TOUCH: The Favored of Der'Geydhe can kill a mortal by touch one time a day. This is a spell like ability that is a death effect. The Death Touched must succeed at a melee touch attack against a living creature (using the rules for touch spells). When they touch, roll 1d6 per character level attained. If the total equals or exceeds the victim's hit points, the victim dies. This stacks with any other death touch abilities gained.
TURNING GAZE: Death Touched Humans are also fearsome to behold by the Undead. They can either Turn or Rebuke Undead (Depending on alignment) by the mere stare of their eyes one time per day as a Cleric of Equal level, no matter their class. If they become priests, this ability stacks with the Turn/Rebuke undead powers of a cleric or paladin. It is entirely possible that this turn undead attempt may be stronger level-wise than those gained by other classes.
DEATH WARDED: The Geydhe-Favored humans are Immune to all death spells and magical death effects. This ability does not protect against other sorts of attacks, such as hit point loss, poison, petrification, or other effects even if they might be lethal.
MELANCHOLIA: All Death Touched humans are plagued by Melancholia, a deep and endless sorrow, many commit suicide or have feelings of hopelessness. When a situation looks grim (DM Prerogative), a Death-Touched must make a Will Save (DC: 15) or give into his despair and make all rolls (abilities, skills, to hit, damage, etc...) at a -2 penalty for 1d6 rounds.
