UUK-NURR (Spider Goblin):
The spider goblin is an omnipresent nuisance that travels in great numbers, they are only found deep underground and only in vast lightless caverns that are like a gloomy fairyland. They are horrible predators know to travel in the hundreds or thousands in search of prey, treasure, or territory.
They have flat faces, broad noses, pointed ears, wide mouths, and small sharp fangs. Their foreheads slope back, and their eyes are usually bright and blaze with a predatory instinct, varying in color from iridescent blue to black. They have elongated limbs which they move about awkwardly upon the ground but at great ease when climbing up and down sheer faces of rocks.
Watching the Spider Goblins pour from ceiling, fissure, and wall in all directions in unceasing hordes is often the last thing many races ever see. The Spider Goblins will loot, pillage and despoil every thing left after the civilization is conquered until all of it's easily available resources have been sacked and then move on leaving a stinking, rotted wreck behind them. They will not go for resources that take effort to develop and dwarves have found perfectly useable mines without a nugget stripped off just because it looked like effort. They often take slaves with them to make them work but Uuk-Nurr are notoriously bad at keeping them alive being to greedy to feed or give them water or rest.

- ATTRIBUTES: +2 Dexterity, -2 Wisdom, -2 Charisma
- SIZE: Small size. They gain a +1 Size bonus to AC and Attack Rolls and a +4 size bonus to Hide checks, but they must use smaller weapons than humans use, and their lifting and carrying limits are 3/4 of medium size creatures.
- SPEED: Goblin base speed is 30 feet.
- DARKVISION: Spider Goblins can see in the dark up to 120 feet. Darkvision is black and white only, but it is otherwise like normal sight, and spider goblins can function just fine with no light at all.
- QUIET: Goblins gain a +4 to their Move Silently checks.
- HEARTY: +2 racial bonus on saving throws against poison and disease. Goblins often live in despicable conditions and have built up immunities to filthy water, bad food, and excrement.
- CLIMB: Uuk-Nurr can climb walls in the Underdark Caverns with alarming skill. They gain the Climb Proficiency at no cost and gain a +8 racial bonus to all Climb Checks. The Spider Goblin must make a Climb check to climb any wall or slope with a DC of more than 0, but it can always choose to take 10 (See checks without rolls, page 61 of the PHB) even if rushed or threatened while climbing. The Uuk-Nurr climbs at the listed speed while climbing. If the Uuk-Nurr chooses an accelerated climb (See Climb page 64 in the PHB) it moves at double the speed listed (or it's normal land speed, whichever is less) and makes a single Climb check at a -5 penalty. Creatures cannot use the run action while climbing.
- LIGHT BLINDNESS: Abrupt exposure to bright light blinds a Spider Goblin for 1 round, In addition, Uuk-Nurr suffer -1’s to Saves, Attacks, and checks when in bright light.
- BONUS SKILLS (Scavenger): Appraise, Search, and Spot are free skills. Spider Goblins are Scavengers of the highest degree and have a knack for finding loose and valuable items. Spider Goblins gain a +2 To Appraise, Search, and Spot checks when ransacking a place looking for treasure.
- BONUS FEAT (Thug): Spider Goblins gain the Thug feat free.
