TRAKALDAN HUMAN: More horrible than even the deadly jungles of Skraelund, Trakaldar, the Forest of Nightmares is a living hell on earth. It's Dark trees tower hundreds of feet overhead dripping blood from the leaves, The Sky rages a deep purple with constant storms flashing red lightning, and the ground is spiked with bones, jutting rocks, and the bodies of those who have fallen prey to the Forest's predations. Few go there and fewer ever leave as the Forest itself brims with a malevolent intelligence and even the trees can attack an unwary traveler.

A Trakaldan human is a child born in the dark forest who has been irradiated with it's corruptive magicks and has become a creature of it's eternal night. The adaptations once applied to a few children but now, over time, virtually all living Trakaldans have become this altered subrace of humans. Trakaldans are large, averaging 5'10" to 6'4". They have Gray Skin from the lack of light and their eyes glimmer like a cat's in the moonlight.
