HUMAN, TROYDIAN (UnDeath-Favored):
When UnDead are 'killed', their spirits are denied the peace of Death and cannot be granted life. Therefore they return to Troyda where they are reformed as the These beings are infused with UnDeath's Cruel Power and live a semblance of life in Troyda until they reach maturity and become proper UnDead. Until then, they are as commoners to the true UnDead who treat the Amaranthine as home but in many ways resemble the human-like people they were once centuries ago when UnDeath was called the World King.
The fanatical worshipers of UnDeath complete a ritual when they wish to become citizens of the City of Troyda and vie for the true power. They slip their souls into the Well of Pith. Those that survive from new moon to new moon in the Well of Pith are forever changed becoming the Amaranthine, the Immortal.
They are now possessed of the UnLife, a state of both living and dying. They are living beings filled with negative energy and often hatred. These children are called the UnDeath-Touched and are blessed amongst the UnDead loving worshipers of UnDeath, and respected by his terrible minions, the UnDead multitudes ravaging Gaela'dra and fighting the endless war against Der'Gheyde.
The Favored of Undeath are skeletal beings with twisted sinewy bodies and grey cadaverous looking skin and thinning hair. Often their eyes are set deep within their sockets and they peer out upon the grey world of their births with pity. They are partially dead and partially alive. however, they eat sleep and breathe like normal humans. They have peculiar insights into the world of the UnDead and are favored as Priests and Necromancers by and for UnDeath and his minions as go-betweens for the living and the dead. Often times the Undeath-Favored are fascinated with the world of the dead and talk of it incessantly. Their eyes are often dull black or slate grey but sometimes ice blue or fully white eyes are seen.
Despite their heritage and ancestry many Undeath-Favored humans are not evil. Unfortunately, outside of the Forsaken lands most are hunted by fearful mobs and destroyed before they can make their good intentions known. In Troyda, they pass unmolested as emissaries, adventurers, and citizens of the Undead City.
